Catasetum Dark Red

This is a cross between 4 species of catasetum that is fimbriatum x tenebrism x susan fuchs x incurvum. Flowers are fragrant in nature and dark red in color. A rare catasetum hybrid.

Catasetums goes into dormancy stage during winter and they tend to loose their leaves turning into just pseudo-bulbs. The below plant is in bulb stage during winter and it will sprout leaves once it comes out of dormancy. During dormancy watering should be minimal as the plant will use the water stored in the bulb during its winter sleep.
