Catasetum Mark’s Red Hermosa is a Catasetum orchid hybrid developed by M.Margolis in the year 2012. This hybrid is a cross between two species of Catasetum which is Catasetum Pileatum and Catasetum Alexis Pardo.

This is a catasetum orchid and it tend to loose leaf during the winter and turn into a bulb form. Watering should be very minimal during the bulb form (dormant phase) because plant is in winter hibernation stage.
