Dendrobium delacourii — “Delacour’s Dendrobium”
A miniature, warm-to-intermediate epiphytic Dendrobium from mainland Southeast Asia that produces clusters of fragrant flowers on short upright racemes. It’s compact, deciduous (leaves often drop in winter/rest), and prized for gardens where space is limited. Native to Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar, Dendrobium delacourii grows in deciduous forests at roughly 800–1,300 m elevation and can tolerate bright light — even strong sun in its native habitat.
